Doulas of Color Network

A pregnant person sits cross-legged in an orange dress. They are surrounded by 3 doulas wearing varying shades of yellow. Above them reads, Doulas of Color Network.

Doulas and birth workers of color are building a network! Each month a mix of SISTA Fire members and folks joining us for the first time come together to build deeper relationships, discuss how we can support each other, and begin a collective conversation among birth workers.

So much of doulas do is hold space, love and honor individuals and families. Birth work is about our collective humanity. It is critical that we as Black, Brown, and Indigenous birth workers are in relationship with one another.

If you are an aspiring or practicing doula or birthworker of color, please save the date for our next gathering on the fourth Thursday of each month from 6:30 – 8:30 PM.
