1. Types of Information Collected
A. Personal Data
As a general matter, SISTA Fire collects personally identifiable information – your first name, last name, or similar identifier, and your contact details such as your mailing address, email address, and telephone numbers – only when you voluntarily choose to provide it to us.

Credit and debit card payment processing services for donations made through the Website are currently provided by Stripe via Bonterra (“Network for Good”) and are subject to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement, which includes the Stripe Terms of Service (collectively, the “Stripe Services Agreement”) available at https://stripe.com/us/legal. By making donations via this Website, you agree to be bound by the Stripe Services Agreement, as the same may be modified by Stripe from time to time. As a condition of SISTA Fire enabling credit and debit card payment processing services through Stripe, you agree to provide us with accurate and complete information about you, and you authorize us to share any such information with Stripe. We are not responsible for the performance of any third-party credit or debit card processing or third-party payment services.
2. How we collect and use the information gathered when you become a member of SISTA Fire or use one of our online services:
We gather personal information, including names, contact information and other information you may voluntarily provide when you become a member of SFRI, contribute to SFRI online or via mail, sign-up for more info at an outreach event, when you sign up for our monthly newsletter, or when you otherwise provide personal information on our Sites. We may also collect information about our members from public sources, or other organizations, including partnered and mission aligned organizations, which we may combine with information from other sources. We use this information to contact you and send you issue-related updates, action alerts, press releases, information about SFRI meetings, events and activities, local volunteer opportunities and membership and renewal appeals.

SFRI’s Sites are not directed to children. SFRI only collects personal information about individuals under the age of 18 as provided by a parent or guardian through event registrations. All emails sent contain a link to unsubscribe or to modify your profile. You may subscribe or unsubscribe to any newsletter or email communication from SFRI at any time.
